Prompt: He's an old-fashioned day-dreaming master criminal. He's a bookish vegetarian librarian with nothing left to lose. She's a pregnant antique-collecting angel. They (and the rest of their team, if you'd like) fight crime! (For whatever definition of crime you'd like.) (Genders changeable. Bonus points for polyamorous relationship.)
Title: Messengers
Type: Fantasy/Humor
Opening Theme: Something lighthearted and instrumental.

Synopsis: An unlikely trio made up of a talented criminal, a librarian who's a little overly possessive of his books and an angel who adores anything pre-1900 team up to do various tasks set out by the deity that takes form as a waitress working at a twenty four hour diner.

Tamora (Anna Mouglalis
):
No one knows her last name and very few know her first. She's a master thief and con artist and loves what she does. She's just as likely to steal something for someone else though, if what she's doing is challenging enough. When she works, she looks for the trickiest things possible and then sees if she can beat it. She loves challenges, cigarettes, old clothes and swing music and she often sings to herself when she's planning or working. She got pulled into the diner one night when she was looking for something to eat. When the Waitress asked her to do a favor, she did it in exchange for getting a free meal, ever since then she's been doing all sort sf little favors in exchange for free food and she's happy keeping it that way.

Jude Canes (Fran Kranz): He's a librarian who really doesn't like his job. He took it after moving to town because he had nothing else to do and needed the money. He loves books but has a problem sharing them and this is kickstarted by working in a library. He just doesn't trust people to take care of the books the way they are supposed to. Tamora met him once while doing research and they got on quite well. Eventually he got pulled in on a job and then never looked back. He stays working for the library because it means they have easy access to a boatload of information plus he can set aside books that might be needed later.

Cordelia (Noemie Lenoir): She's an angel who collects various artifacts, both useful and not. Her calling is to remember, she keeps the past alive within her mind so that the future can march forward and not repeat itself and wind up in a vicious cycle. It's why she's drawn to anything old. She has an antique shop, though she rarely ever sells anything, this is in part because she doesn't want to and in part because it's sometimes physically painful to let one of her artifacts go. She has been known to share the odd thing though, mostly to those who she finds herself liking. The base of operations for the three of them is usally her shop. There's a back table where they sit and plot and it's usually covered in books and computers used for research. She's not entirely sure how she got involved with the other two but she doens't complain. it's nice to have something to do besides mind her shop and she enjoys the company.

The Waitress (Patricia Idette): She is, for all intents and purposes, God. She works day and night at a diner that the three often meet at and gives them various tasks to do. She's sweet, patient and willing to listen to them when they need to talk to someone. Although they all know she's some kind of deity, they don't realize that she is the highest there is. They assume that she's simply some kind of messenger and that the high deity can't be bothered to deal with the likes of them. She cares deeply for them though and does what she can to make their lives and the jobs she sends them on easier.

The Dandy (Jude Law): No one is entirely sure how he manages to always be there but he is. Often, he's chatting with the Waitress and all three of them have gotten the feeling that they're more than just friends. They clearly adore each other and love to do what they can to help. On the rare days that they do not see the Waitress, the Dandy is the one to assign them their tasks. He doesn't often have things for them to do personally but he has been known to give them a helpful hint or two when they're stuck. If the Waitress is the god figure, than he would have to be the Devil, a part he will occasionally play up just for the fun of it.

TThe Cook (Allison Case): She doesn't come out very often but she makes wonderful food. If anyone were to ask what her purpose was, it would be to create. She created the world and presented it to the Waitress as a gift one day and now she works to do whatever she can to please her, which these days means she works as a cook. She doesn't mind though, as she thoroughly enjoys making food and playing around with different recipes. She loves feeling the three of them because she believes that good food leads to a job well done and when they do a good job, the Waitress is happy and that's all she really wants.
